OLDENBURG, Ind. (WISH) - A one-year-old boy is run over by a car after his 2-year-old brother somehow shifted it out of park.
The boy's grandmother reported the incident to police moments after it occurred Sunday night.
It happened in the 24000 block of Meadow Lane in Oldenburg. That's north of Batesville, in southeastern Indiana.
Investigators say a 2-year-old boy was playing in the front seat of that car and shifted it out of park, causing it to roll forward.
The one-year-old was playing with a family pet in front of the car and both were hit.
That child was airlifted to the Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati for treatment of head and body injuries.
There's no word on his condition.
