MUNSTER, Ind. (WISH) - The Munster Community Hospital was recognized as one of the top 50 hospitals in the U.S., according to a 2013 hospital outcomes report by Healthgrades.

The hospital has received the recognition for six years in a row, according to a press release.

To be recognized a hospital must have had risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates low enough to place them among the top 5 percent in the nation for a minimum of eight consecutive years.
