INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - One moving company says its data show more people are leaving Indiana than are moving here.
Atlas Van Lines says in 2012, about 1,300 people used their service to move to Indiana. But during that same time, about 1,700 left the state. The ratio is similar to previous years, Atlas said. Indiana, in fact, is among the most consistent states over the last few years, the company said.
Atlas says Washington, DC, North Dakota and North Carolina saw the greatest percentage of people moving in. Wyoming, Nebraska and New York had the highest percentage of outbound moves.
