INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The Indiana Supreme Court is seeking public comments on proposed new guidelines for parenting time.
The court says the guidelines help judicial officers make decisions about the time each parent spends with a child when separated or divorced parents cannot agree.
The proposed changes cover holidays, weekends and overnight visits, and include revised guidelines for the use of video communications.
A committee of trial court judges that is preparing the guidelines will accept comments from the public until March 26.
The proposed rules can be found online at http://courts.in.gov/3763.htm . There is an online form for submitting comments.
