Dead body found in Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Terre Haute Police Department spent early Saturday morning on the scene of a dead body.
Our sister station WTHI says few details are being released at this time. News 10 has learned that a deceased person was found at 3rd and College Streets before 1 a.m. Saturday.
Police say the individual did have a gunshot wound which was found to be self inflicted. They are not handling the investigation as a homicide.
A neighbor says he heard the gun shots from his home and says in the short time he's lived in the area, he hasn't had any problems.
