Direct payments may end for farmers

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Agriculture in this state is a 25 billion dollar global industry. And it's undergoing change.

Last year, in an I-Team report , we told you about a program for farmers called "direct payments," money handed out year after year to anyone who owns land, zoned "agriculture."

24-Hour News 8 has been tracking the legislation that could end those direct payments .
