MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) - Police confiscated nearly 40 pounds of marijuana after a drug bust in Muncie.
It happened late Monday night.
Police say they’d been investigating for nearly a month before the Muncie Narcotics Unit and the Delaware County SWAT teams raided four locations.
Police say they arrested three people on felony drug charges: 20-year-old Tyler Niccum, 36-year-old Jeremy Carver, and 29-year-old Evan Jackson.
Police say Jackson used a barn on the property at 9335 N. CR 500 W. to store drugs.
It was in that barn they found the marijuana, along with thousands of dollars of cash, numerous handguns and shotguns, ammo, syringes, and steroids.
They said they even found motorcycles, cars, and a boat there that belonged to Jackson.
They believe he bought those items using money from selling marijuana.
“There was more marijuana than we originally anticipated being brought into Delaware County, that was being sold by this group,” said an undercover officer.
Police say the investigation here continues, and there could be more arrests in the future.
