Gas Buddy warns of possible price hike

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Thursday, the gas Buddy app sent an alert warning of a possible spike in gas prices Friday.
The alert warned of a possible hike Friday morning in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. In Indiana and Michigan, the prices may reach $3.99 and in Ohio, prices could reach $3.95.
The odds of the hike are 50/50, meaning it is not a guaranteed spike in prices.
According to the alert, gas prices are going up "virtually everywhere outside these states as well."
