SANTA CLAUS, Ind. (AP) - A southern Indiana amusement park's wooden roller coaster is attracting national exposure, including being featured on a television program devoted to some of the nation's best roller coasters.

Holiday World & Splashin' Safari spokeswoman Paula Werne says the park's "The Voyage" ride will be profiled in Sunday's episode of the Travel Channel's "Insane Coaster Wars" program. It will be pitted against thee other wooden roller coasters around the country in online voting to determine which is the best ride.

Werne tells WIBC-FM "The Voyage" has been voted the number one wooden roller coaster among coaster enthusiasts each year since 2007.

The ride at the park about 35 miles east of Evansville was recently featured by The New York Times in a story about how fantastic roller coasters.
