How to make the best of Black Friday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - With so many people going after good deals on Black Friday, how can you maximize your chances of snagging what you want?

Tricia Meyer, a self-proclaimed Black Friday shopping expert who runs her own savings website, sunshinerewards.com, said to get the best deals, you need to have a plan of attack.

“You definitely need to have a plan of attack on Black Friday,” she said, “because everybody's thinking the same thing that you are, and almost everyone is going for the same products.”

Check circulars before heading out, she said, and plan when you need to be where, especially if you want a featured item.

"If you know that you need to hit so many places, you need to look and see what times they open. So if something opens at 6 and something opens at 9, make sure you're in line at 4 for the place that opens at 6, get what you need, get out of there and get to the place that you need to be at by 9,” she advised.
