ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - An Indiana Michigan Power map shows that nearly 2,800 Allen County residents do not have power.

An Indiana Michigan Power employee confirmed that a substation is out due to a squirrel interfering with the substation. The employee said the substation was in southwest central Fort Wayne.

Crews are currently working to restore power.

The I&M employee said that as of 1:45 p.m., power is expected to be restored within one to four hours.

Police said almost all of the traffic lights in downtown Fort Wayne are out.

Treat the intersection as a four-way stop if you come to a traffic light that is out.
