INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A 57-year-old Indiana man will spend the next 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to producing child pornography.
Danny L. Shelton was sentenced Friday by U.S. District Judge William T. Lawrence.
According to court documents, Shelton took his computer in for repair when a technician noticed a video file of a naked girl. Investigators searched the computer and determined Shelton had taken pictures of the girl several times and transported the pictures across stateliness.
Upon his release from prison, Shelton will undergo a lifetime of supervised release, during which time he cannot buy a computer without permission. Officials will also have the right to search his computer at any time.
