CLAY COUNTY (WISH) - Indiana State Police are on the hunt for someone who broke into a fellow trooper’s home and made off with several guns and uniforms.
Troopers say the burglars made their way into a detective’s home on Wednesday when they stole the items, but left behind the trooper’s badge.
The burglars made off with two, blue semi-automatic handguns. One, a Model 21 Glock .45 caliber engraved with the ISP 75th Anniversary logo. The second weapon is described as a model 96G Beretta that had an ISP shield engraved on it.
Anyone who knows anything about the burglary are asked to contact Indiana State Police Detective Tony Guinn at 1-800-225-8576 or Wabash Valley Crime Stoppers at 812-238 STOP.
