NEW ALBANY, Ind. (AP) - Police agencies have spent two days searching a section of the Ohio River for signs of a missing southern Indiana woman, acting on a lead since the arrest of a man on charges he killed two other women a decade apart.

Investigators were back along the shore at New Albany on Thursday. Clark County Sheriff Danny Rodden tells The Courier-Journal ( http://cjky.it/IglbpK ) that they're seeking signs of 35-year-old Stephanie Kirk of Charlestown.

Kirk was last seen March 25 leaving a friend's New Albany home.

New Albany police Maj. Keith Whitlow says they're following up on information developed since the arrest of 54-year-old William Gibson III in the death of a 75-year-old family friend at his New Albany home.

Gibson also faces murder charges for a Jeffersonville woman's 2002 death.
