INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - State and local Homeland Security agencies will head to Indiana schools to practice an earthquake drill at 10:15 a.m. Thursday.

The drill, called a ShakeOut, is held annually across the Midwest and encourages people to practice the "drop, cover and hold on" technique as well as to learn about the risk of earthquakes in Indiana.

More than 2.8 million people throughout the Midwest will be taking part in the drill.
