IINDIANAPOLIS (WISH) -  Papa John's is facing a $250 million class action lawsuit, CNN Money reports.

The suit is over text messages sent two years ago. People accuse Papa Johns of sending a total of half a million unwanted text messages offering deals for pizza.

Some customers complained they were getting 15 texts in a row, some in the middle of the night.

Federal law says companies cannot send ads through text messages unless customers sign up for them.

Papa John's CEO John Schnatter is from southern Indiana.
