FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - A northeastern Indiana prosecutor's office says no criminal charges will be filed against a former Bishop Luers High School football coach fired after police said they were investigating possible inappropriate video clips of students on his computer.
The Journal Gazette and The News-Sentinel reported Monday that the Allen County Prosecutor's Office released a statement Monday saying an investigation regarding work computers controlled by Matt Lindsay has been completed and no illegal images were found. The statement said Lindsay's personal computer was not found.
The Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend announced in September it had fired Lindsay for violating school and diocesan policies. He could not be reached for comment because there was no telephone listing for him.
Lindsay won nine state titles during his 26 years as head coach.
