Rose-Hulman president dies

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WISH) - Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology announced Friday its president died after a medical incident in his office.

President Matt Branam was rushed to a hospital after the medical emergency in his office, and he died shortly after arriving.

Branam, a native of Terre Haute, graduated from Rose-Hulman in 1979. He served at the leadership post at the university for three years.

School officials planned to announce an interim leader Friday afternoon.
