INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Storms have been popping up around the state this afternoon, and much of the state is under a slight risk for severe weather.
The NWS issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the southern third of Indiana, but then later scaled it back to far south-eastern counties. The watch is in effect until 10 p.m. Thursday.
At about 7:30 p.m., NWS issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Boone and Clinton counties, through 8 p.m. The warning was allowed to expire, however, and the NWS said the storm had weekend below severe limits, but heavy rain was still possible.
