Super Bowl leftovers could make perfect gifts

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A local organization is auctioning off items made from salvaged Super Bowl XLVI banners - including shower curtains, handbags and wallets - just in time for the holiday shopping season.

People for Urban Progress is selling the items online, in addition to select local retailers. Find out more about the auction at the organization's website here .

The organization is a nonprofit that promotes and advances public transit, environmental awareness and urban design. It's storefront is at 1043 Virginia Ave., Suite 213.

The items are also being sold at Silver in the City, Homespun, Artifacts and Vardagen.
