Train derailment shuts down road

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - A train derailed in southern Vigo County Friday morning.
It happened just before noon Friday near Woodsmall Drive.
Officials say a train wheel came off the track, which caused the derailment. There was no serious damage or injury.
A few roadways had to be closed as the crews cleaned up the mess.
The road has since been reopened.
