INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The steady rain moved into the northern areas of Central Indiana Friday night and prompted a flood warning for Wayne County in eastern Indiana.
The warning has since expired.
Watch for standing water on the roads as rain totals are now over an inch in hometowns like Muncie and Kokomo. Overnight temperatures will be in the 40s and highs struggle on Saturday into the upper 40s.
More showers are in the forecast for Saturday and right now the focus for the steady rain will be across the northern half of the state.
As the low moves toward the East Coast, the rain chances will come to an end. This will happen on Sunday, with highs near 50 degrees. There will still be more clouds than sun and a stray shower is possible.A line of rain and storms is making its way through Central Indiana and continues to move north.
Earlier Friday, a thunderstorm warning was issued for Ripley and Franklin counties. Both have since expired.
