INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - After mild weather - with little snow removal needed - landscapers' mowing season has been hampered by a hot, dry spring.
"Smaller companies they can't recover from the winter that we had and then going into this drought, not being able to mow you don't make no money. It's pretty hard on those companies," said Shane Snyder, with Picasso Lawn and Landscaping.
He said he's already had to lay off one employee, and hours have been cut by more than half. That's after business dropped by 70 percent last winter.
