INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The U.S. Department of Education has appointed a former Indiana educator to develop and manage policy for National FFA organization as its executive secretary.
Sherene Donaldson also will be responsible for keeping membership records, tracking progress of the organization and overseeing state FFA associations reporting to the organization's board.
Most recently, Donaldson was an educational program specialist for the Education Department's Office of Vocational and Adult Education in Washington, D.C.
She previously worked as curriculum and adult education director at the Central Nine Career Center in Greenwood where she was responsible for leading career technical education and adult educational programming in nine school districts.
