INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - You’ve heard of Black Friday, and even Cyber Monday. But nonprofit organizations are hoping you’ll consider making this day Giving Tuesday.

There’s even a website to promote the idea. The organizers say they “hope to create a national day of giving at the start of the annual holiday season.” They're encouraging people and businesses to find a way to give.

They’re promoting the idea via social media, and on their website there are links to lots of nonprofits where your gift can make a difference.
