Woman dies from house fire injuries

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A house fire claimed the life of a Terre Haute woman Saturday. It happened at around 4:30 p.m. at a home on Locust Street.
Our sister station WTHI reports a 75-year-old woman was found in the kitchen of the home.
According to fire officials, the woman suffered severe burns to 75 percent of her body. She was taken to Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
Terre Haute Fire officials say that the woman died as a result of her injuries.
Her name has not been released.
A cause of the fire is under investigation.
