LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) - Lawrence Police are trying to find a suspect involved in a fatal shooting over the weekend.
Police said 33-year-old Saul Hernandez-Ramirez has been identified by witnesses as the person who shot Jonathon Parilla-Semerit multiple times in Spring Valley mobile home park Sunday morning.
Police were called out to the mobile home park at around 6 a.m. after receiving several complaints of a loud party. As police were responding to the 8820 Pendleton Pike residence they received additional calls about shots fired.
Police said the two Hispanic males were involved in an altercation at the party prior to the shooting.
When police arrived on the scene 34-year-old Parilla-Semerit was found outside the residence suffering from gun shot wounds. He was taken to Community Hospital North where he later died.
Saul Hernandez-Ramirez is described as 5’3”, 140 lbs and wearing a grey shirt. He was seen leaving the scene in a blue SUV.
