RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - The Randolph County Sheriffs Department is investigating a traffic accident that sent one man to the hospital and left another person dead.
Police say they responded to a two vehicle accident just before 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon near the intersection of 800 North and 600 West.
Investigation revealed the driver of a 1994 Ford Explorer was traveling south on 600 West when a female driver of a 1999 Buick turned into the path of the Ford Explorer.
The driver of the Explorer, 62-year-old Steven Garrison, struck the side of the Buick, killing the driver instantly.
The name of the deceased is driver has not yet been released.
