GREENSBURG, Ind. (WISH) - Two little girls and their family were shaken up - but unhurt - when a car slammed into an into an eye doctor's office in Greensburg, 24-Hour News 8 news partner the Greensburg Daily News reports .
The crash happened Tuesday afternoon when Lucille Collins, 63, said she accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, sending the Oldsmobile Achieva she was driving over the curb and through the glass front of Sizemore Vision Care in the 600 block of West Main Street, the newspaper reports.
Dr. Carrie Sizemore was with the family, her patients, in the building in view of the crash, as was Sizemore's boyfriend, Todd Schlotter, who said the impact sounded like a bomb had gone off.
"I looked up," Schlotter said, "and there was a car sitting where the doors were supposed to be."
The building sustained major damage, the newspaper reports.
