COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) - A family of four safely escaped a fire at a townhouse Sunday afternoon.

According to our partners at the Republic , thermal imaging equipment was used to determine the cause of the fire at the Parkview Townhouses.

Faulty electrical wiring above the second-floor ceiling sparked the fire.

The family was not injured in the fire and firefighters were able to bring the fire under control fairly quickly.
