EAST CENTRAL INDIANA (WISH) - For a second day in a row dense fog has some districts delaying the start of schools in east central Indiana.
As dense fog slows travel, school districts in Blackford, Delaware and Jay counties are delaying their openings.
The list currently includes; Blackford Community Schools, FUMC Montpelier Treehouse preschool, Wes-Del Community Schools are on a two-hour delay.
Jay School Corporation is delaying the start of school by three hours.
According to the National Weather Service, lingering low level moisture, partly cloudy skies and light winds will allow for continued fog formation early Wednesday morning. The fog will be dense at times and will linger through the early morning hours affecting the morning commute. The fog is expected to dissipate by mid morning.
