CENTERVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - A Wayne County family safely evacuated their home overnight after discovering it was on fire.
Flickering lights tipped the Centerville family off that something might be wrong with their electrical system.
Their suspicions proved to be true when a fire broke out around 1:40 a.m. Tuesday in the attic of their one-story home. Firefighters from three surrounding departments battled the fire and were able to bring the flames under control in about one hour.
No one was injured.
