BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - A Bartholomew County Family is seeking answers in the death of a 19-month-old baby.

The Bartholomew County Coroner has yet to identity what caused the baby to pass away Sunday night. According to our partners at the Republic , the baby was found dead in his mother's home after she had made a 911 call.

"She basically said her child was not responsive, he appeared lifeless and wasn't breathing," Columbus police Lt. Matt Myers said. Officials arrived at the home around 8:20 p.m. and the child was not moving. The baby was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

An autopsy has been conducted but a cause of death has not yet been determined.
