High school evacuated for gas smell

RICHMOND, Ind. (WISH) - Richmond High School was evacuated Thursday morning because of a gas smell in the building, school officials said.

Students were sent to Earlham College. The Richmond Fire Department, Vectren and Wayne County Emergency Management investigated and determined the odor posed no risk to students.

Students were taken back to the high school to complete the day.
