INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The man pinned under a tractor in a New Palestine pond on Thursday has died.
St. Vincent Hospital officials say 23-year-old Oren Killebrew died of his injuries.
Killebrew was working with a crew at a New Palestine home, removing a tree from an area near a pond. The tractor he was on rolled backward into the pond and he couldn’t get off of it in time. He was pinned in 4 to 4 ½ feet of water before two coworkers and two police officers were able to lift it off of him.
He was flown to St. Vincent Hospital North via medical helicopter after the incident.
