BROOKVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - The man accused in the shooting deaths of five people in Laurel, Ind. will not face the death penalty.
Court records show the Franklin County prosecutor’s office filed an amendment to charges against David Ison. The amendment seeks life in prison without the chance for parole.
The prosecutor’s office reported it was considering the death penalty in connection with the Sept. 25th shooting rampage that left the small southeastern Indiana town in shock.
