RICHMOND, Ind. (WISH) - Attorneys representing a man who shot a pizzeria robber say their client continues to cooperate with police.
An employee of Mercurio’s Pizza in Richmond shot 30-year-old Freddie McCoy Saturday night while McCoy tried to rob the restaurant. McCoy died at the hospital.
Attorneys representing the man who shot McCoy said Monday the employee “acted quickly and decisively to protect both his business and his daughter.”
Business is expected to resume at Mercurio’s on Thursday. It’s unclear whether the employee will face any charges.
