ANDERSON, Ind. (The Herald Bulletin) - Central Indiana’s two racinos may soon have the same owner, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner, The Herald Bulletin , reports.

Centaur placed a winning bid to take over Indiana Grand Casino on Friday. The Shelbyville-based casino has been working its way through bankruptcy. The bid from the parent company of Anderson-based Hoosier Park must still be approved by the bankruptcy court.

An attorney for Centaur said he hopes the transaction will be complete within a year. No major changes are anticipate at Anderson’s facility, though it was unclear what changes might be possible in Shelbyville.
