MORRISTOWN, Ind. (WISH) - Rescue crews converged on a grain bin in Shelby County on Thursday night, where they were able to free a man trapped inside.

Emergency officials said the man was trapped at Bunge Grain, in the 700 block of North Range Line Road in Morristown. He was covered up to his chest in corn.

A protective tube was put around the worker while crews pulled him to safety. Once out of the bin, the man was conscious and alert.

24-Hour News 8 news partner The Shelbyville News reports the man was in fair condition and treated at the scene.
