FORTVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - A Fortville police officer has returned to work after being shot while on duty in July.
Officer Matthew Fox was shot July 27 by a man he was pursuing after attempting to make a traffic stop.
Monday, the Hancock County Sheriff's Department posted to Facebook that Fox was back on the job.
Fox is on desk duty only at the present time.
