SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing man.

Scotty Wadsworth was last seen on the 600 block of South Pike Street in Shelbyville around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Family members say Wadsworth was under distress and that he might attempt to harm himself.

He was wearing a blue jean jacket, maroon sweater, white hat and Air Jordan shoes. Wadsworth has several tattoos, included one that reads “Wadsworth” on his back.

Police believe Wadsworth may have a knife in his possession and asks that no one approach him if located.

Anyone with information about Wadsworth is asked to call the Shelbyville Police Department at 317-392-2511.
