RUSHVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Our partners at the Rushville Republican report volunteers are needed to ring bells at the Salvation Army kettles this year.

Officials say the need for volunteers is great, especially in Rush County. All churches, civic organizations, schools, government offices, businesses and individual citizens are asked to take part in " ringing the bell ."

The funds collected at the kettles stay in Rush County to meet the emergency assistance needs of Rush County families. These funds are used to purchase food and medication as well as to pay for rent and utilities.
