Silver Alert canceled, woman found safe

CONNERSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Police said a Connersville woman was found safely in Harrison County, near Louisville, Ky., after a Silver Alert was issued for her Tuesday.

The Silver Alert was issued for 84-year-old Alvina J. Kunkel on Tuesday afternoon, and it was canceled early Wednesday morning.

Police officials say she stopped and asked for help and people were able to reach her family.
