HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - Two young girls from Sugar Creek Township in Hancock County were honored Friday for their bravery and kindness.

Blake and Victoria Lyons tried to save their neighbor who was burned in a field fire. Blake pulled Don Overton into their yard while Victoria called 911. Overton later died of his injuries, but emergency officials felt the girls' actions deserved praise.

Overton's widow, Joan, was on hand Friday to help honor the girls
