RUSH COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - An overturned semitrailer trapped two people Monday morning in Rush County, police dispatchers said.

The incident happened on Ind. 244 near Richland, east of Ind. 3 around 10:45 a.m.

According to a release form the Indiana State Police, a semi drove off the right side of the road and rolled over in a ditch. The driver was not injured, but a passenger was pinned in the wreckage for over an hour. She was later taken to St. Vincent's Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The truck is a total loss. Officers believe the people inside the truck were wearing seatbelts.

This is an ongoing investigation.
