About 3,100 lose power in Hamilton County

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Thousands of Hamilton County residents lost power Monday morning.

Duke Energy was reporting 3,106 customers without power at 7:30 a.m., though power was lost about an hour prior.

It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the outage, but it appeared to be mainly in the Carmel area.

As of 8:30 a.m., power had been restored.
