Carmel SWAT arrests 5 on drug charges

CARMEL, Ind.(WISH) - The Carmel SWAT team was called in Wednesday to help arrest five people suspected of dealing cocaine and marijuana.

Carmel Police executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Second Street as the conclusion to a three month long investigation

Police arrested:

• Miquel Angel Salazar Martinez charged with Dealing Cocaine, A Felony, Maintaining Common Nuisance, D Felony and Possession of Cocaine, D Felony
• Kalu Simoes Ferreira charged with Possession of Marijuana, A Misdemeanor and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, D Felony
• Jordan Miles Mallory charged with Counts of Dealing Cocaine, A Felonies, Possession of Cocaine, D Felony, 2 Counts of Dealing Marijuana, D Felonies, 3 Counts of Possession of Marijuana, A Misdemeanors and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, D Felony
• Maxwell Reid Hughey charged with Visiting a Common Nuisance, B Misdemeanor and Possession of Marijuana, A Misdemeanor
• Jose Eduardo Martinez Salazar charged with Dealing Cocaine, A Felony, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, D Felony and 2 Counts of Possession of Cocaine, D Felonies.

All five suspects were taken to the Hamilton County Jail.
