CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - A Carmel company is planning to expand it's headquarters.

Next Gear in Carmel provides financing programs for car dealers across the country. A planned expansion will create 169 new jobs by 2015, Governor Mike Pence announced Monday.

This is Next Gear's second expansion in recent years. In 2009, the company made plans to invest $6.9 million to add 12,000 square feet to its Carmel headquarters. The move resulted in more than 60 new jobs.

Also in Carmel, Baldwin and Lyons is also expanding their headquarters.

The business is one of the largest property and casualty insurance companies based in Indiana. Baldwin and Lyons hopes to add 133 new jobs by 2018.
