CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - The Carmel Police Department is investigating the death of an 18-year-old man.
According to a news release from the Carmel Police Department, officers responded to a call about an intoxicated person early Friday morning.
When police arrived, they found the victim, Brett Finbloom of Carmel, did not have a pulse. He was taken to the Heart Hospital at 10590 N. Meridian St. Police were contacted Sunday morning and advised that Finbloom had died.
Two friends of Finbloom were at the house when officers arrived Friday. The inicdent wasn't at Finbloom's home.
Officers were told that Finbloom fell, but investigators are unsure if that's what led to his death. An autopsy was planned for Monday or Tuesday.
Officials said Finbloom had been arrested within the past few months at a party involving alcohol at his own home.
