CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - A big push across Indiana among high school and college students in honor of a Carmel teenager who died from underage drinking.

Thursday, Brett Finbloom would have turned 19 years old.

He died in August from alcohol poisoning just a week before leaving for college.

His parents have carried into high schools the message "Good Decisions/Choose to Live/Underage Drinking is Dangerous/Lifeline. It can happen to you."

Thursday, the message will be spread in part led by the IU student president on Facebook and Twitter with the hashtags #Choosetolive and #BRF.

Lifeline is the recently passed law that protects from prosecution the 911 caller and those who assist to save a life.
